Well, i think you can give it a try. really no harm in trying. But I suggest that you get to know her first. This is giving you an opportunity to back off just in case u found out that she's not your type either. At the same time, you will have an extra acquitance without putting yourself in a sticky situation if it doesn't work out. It can be a staff lunch(where you can get to talk to her and at the same time it wouldn't be too obvious). Then you decide whether she is your type and she may even change her opinion that you are not her type.

Here's something to think about....do you want to work with someone that you're having an relationship with? It makes it awkward for everyone if you do, especially if it doesn't work out. Otherwise.....ask the lady to lunch and get to know each other better. It's only LUNCH...one hour to talk and you'll know if you are her type or not. Or at least you will make a new friend.

well how do u know ur not her type??? Types can always change. I say go for it the worst that can happen is she turns into a warewolf snaps your head off and then her raging vampire husband comes along makes you live forever headless... but otha than that go for it!!! gd luck

Dating someone from work is always a risky idea....I don't think it a good idea to pursue her, even if you are her "type". What happens if it doesn't work out? What happens if it does? Think about how you would handle this at the workplace.

Of course you should ask her. If you don't, it will never happen - if you ask her, it still might never happen, but at least you'll know!! The worst that can happen is that she'll say no.
