We arrived in Zurich and they lost our luggage. We were only staying for one night before we left for Innsbruck. We had bad jetlag and couldn't sleep until about midnight. Right around that time, people starting lighting loud fireworks--I still have no idea why. We barely got any sleep.
The next day we had to leave for Innsbruck and no luggage. We had to give the airline our addy in Innsbruck "incase they found our luggage." After 2 days in Innsbruck, we still didn't have our luggage and since we didn't have a phone or phone in our hotel room, it was hard to get updates. We only had one change of clothes until we got our luggage--not fun. The airline only gave us a small pack with a toothbrush tshirt and shampoo. And they wouldn't pay for lost luggage until about a week of it being lost. We didn't speak German, and they didn't speak English--which made things worse.
So we were getting ready to leave Innsbruck for Munich and as we were about to leave for the train station, we called the airlines just incase they found our luggage--which they did. We had to drive all the way across town to get the luggage at the airport and then RACE back to the train station, almost missing our flight.
It was the 5th night and we still weren't sleeping through the night, but we had our luggage.

Almost getting mugged while trying to sleep at the Rongphu Monastery at Everest Base Camp- definately the most hair-raising experience!

A trip to Europe and Southamerica. Expedia failed to deliver a ticket and I had to spend 15 extra days in Europe plus one extra week in Southamerica.
