Don't get me wrong, I love Yahoo!. But they refuse to remove the categories listed below from their Yahoo Member Directory. I have reported the categories to Yahoo!, but they refuse to remove them.
In these categories, there are thousands of members who have listed on their profiles their "interests" or "hobbies" to being "viewing child/teen porn".

For those who will say, "It is a free country";
I always feel they must like child porn, and they are trying to protect these perverts.
But child porn is not a "freedom".

Podofilia? I couldn't believe it when I saw it. But I believe it now after clicking on the link and seeing it for myself.
Why would Yahoo create a category titled, Podofilia?
Makes me suspicious of Yahoo as to why they created such categories in the first place.
The fact that they created them for their website, means THEY ARE ABLE TO REMOVE THEM.
Since you say you reported them to Yahoo, but Yahoo didn't remove them, makes me wonder about their position regarding child porn and child sexual predators.
Have you tried contacting government officials about this? or the FBI? or the media?
I read your profile and saw that you hunt down internet predators and their porn and report them to authorities for the protection of children. Thank God "someone" is doing "something" to try and stop these perverts. That is very honorable of you.
Maybe there would be less of these perverts out on the streets harming children if more of us did that and reported them to authorities.

On-line chat rooms by nature are anonymous and all kinds of people; some of the best and the worst of people, including predators, perverts who can be represented in a way to appeal to the weakest and most vulnerable. Yahoo can't control what anyone types but can monitor for certain word combinations with the IP addresses to detect predatory activity. Lets hope they do.

It has been proved that people without functioning sexual organs still abuse children. What people need to understand is the only way to protect your child is to watch them and do not trust anyone alone with them. Period. Most abuse is done by family members or very close friends. The stranger abuse is less than 20 percent of the abuses. You need to pay attention to the drug dealers that lure children because there strangers are usually involved. People put too much attention on sex offenders and too little to drug dealers. Both are major threats but the sex offender gets 80 percent of the attention. Think about that.

You forgot older women for younger men. I'm an older man who loves women; young or old but I don't consider myself a pervert. Personally, I'd do my best to string up a pervert if they went after my daughter or grandson or a neighbor's for that matter. And by stringing up I mean if I were on a jury they wouldn't have a chance!
Oh! BTW, this is America and it is a free country (with consequences)!

I am "highly suprised" that Yahoo wont shut these down!!!
They got into trouble over "rooms" that pander to child pornography, and they still have stuff like this on the net??? hmmm
I guess we need...(I hate to say it), more Government Regulations, since the Industry cant seem to regulate itself...

Our government is to blame not yahoo'
our legislators pass laws against pedophiles,
but anything goes on the Internet, we need to tighten

The names you list do not = child sexual predator.
I understand your concern, but I think you are bit too sensitive. If you see a member attempting to engage in inappropriate behavior with a minor, you should report them to Yahoo.

You have got to be kidding me, who do I write to protest. That is sick. I dont care what people do when they are old enough to consent but having sex with children is a mental illness and a crime not to mention INHUMANE as hell, heartless, cruel, evil, and indescribably harmful. I urge all child mo's to make the world a better place and take your own self out.
