Well this is the most convincing argument against evolution that I have ever seen on Yahoo answers.

However George Bush doesn't believe in Santa Claus.
Santa Claus does exist - look in any mall at Christmas, and in your Christmas stocking.
So George Bush's beliefs are not always true. So he is not the ultimate arbitrator.

Whew - I can carry on being an agnostic. You had me worried for a micro-second.

There is no proof that evolution is false. The more you try to prove it false the more you find it is true.

A test to run in your mind. Take two people both blonde hair and they mate. They have 2 children, one is blonde and one has dark hair. The blonde will go out and find a blonde to mate with and the dark hair does not mate. If this keeps going in he same manner you will only have blondes in the world and no more dark hair people. Or if life required long fingers to live the short fingered people would over time die out and evolution would be that our fingers would get longer and longer. This fits with the thinking of being monkeys The ones that could not stand up and run or see over the bushes to see the danger would not live long. So if you could stand up you was a better provider for your family and again would only see standing up monkeys so they would mate with standing up monkeys. Over the the last million years we have changed to what we are today by this selection. If you only see white people with blonde hair you think they look better or normal. You will pick one of these for your mate and doing so you will change evolution.

Belief is certainty in a universe full of uncertainty.

Full of meaning "within. inside"
the belief is that what is full of uncertainty is exactly the certainty of the universe. We're not contesting the existence of the universe,right...? so from there, from the unconditional and unaccidental possibilty to raise everything to a higher question, we ultimately arrive at the universe itself.

Nothing that the complex human mind questions is ever unworthy of answering.

I believe that the world has evolved over time and all of us on it. But...I also believe that a higher power created us and all life so if it has evolved it is because it was the will of God and through his power, not just a fluke of nature. By the way the new X-Men rocks!!!!!hahahaha
