Christians don't like the Ouija board, this is true, but it's not because they're "afraid" of it -- it's because it contradicts the authority and belief in God's power. The Ouija board works not through spirits, anyways -- it's a psychological game that works through either peer pressure (when there's someone else there) or your own involuntary movements of the hand (which leads to your subconscious spelling something). So Christians are warned against it because it's so convincing that there might actually be a spirit world -- it doesn't actually *feel* like you're writing the words because most of the time it's not your conscious moving the pointer. So to avoid any Christians falling down the path of thinking that ghostly spirits control this world (undermining God's authority), they advise strongly against it.

Um, excuse me, I don't believe in spirits or Ouija boards because I haven't seen any evidence of spirits and the fact that Ouija boards are hoaxes. I have proved to myself that their are no such things by sleeping alone in "haunted" houses and trying the Ouija board thing with so-called believers. I did this with an open mind but I am too smart for that. I wanted to find proof and realized in multiple attempts that all those stories are just campfire boogeyman thrillers.

I do believe in spirits, and Ouija Boards are alright with me. That would be pretty stupid for people who do believe in spirits to be afraid of a ouija board or even people who don't. Damn good question. Maybe they just watch way too much T.V. Destiny

I am an avid believer in spirits and energy forces. I am also not a ouija board user, not because of fear , but because i feel it is the perfect way for all kinds of energy forces to enter your home or spirit or just the world in general. Kinda like a gate way that is just for fun at first but it isnt always so easy to shut that door when it is open. Becareful and have fun.

I wouldn't play with one. I think it's because I dont want to leave myself open to any bad spirits. You never know.
