2Tim.3:1-7; Matt.10:34-38; These describe the worst of the worst in attitudes of the people.
Rev.7:9-17; These that come out of the great tribulation are promised no more heat will light upon them. So anything of heat as global warming or lack of electricity to keep cool by is a concern.
I did hear a while back in 30 years not enough electricity for all, and worse in next 30 years. So it does not seem that things will be about the same.
But of course us old folk will not be around to see it.

First there will be less people, because the birth rate goes down every year. Many schools/universities will close and education for children will do a 90degree turn, instead of competitive (like it is now) it will be caring, because these young people will be needed to take care of the old. When there are more old than young people in the world, medical science will stop exploring and dying naturally and with dignity will be back in fashion.
China or India will be the super power, or they could both be the new power, India will dominate the IT field, control all the media and corporate business accounts through their outsourcing workforce.
America will have a Spanish speaking president and Spanish will replace English as an international language.
These are just some of my thoughts on the future.

I have NO clue what religion will be like, although I'm sure it will still be around. We'll hopefully have a cure to cancer/AIDS/birdflu/etc. From what I can see, the 21st century has been labeled the Century of Biology (19th was CO Mechanology, 20th was Physics Century) by many famous scientists. I expect we'll see a lot of development in that field.
-artificial food
-cloning
-public space travel
-possible moon colonization
-healing of ozone
-and much much more!

A Bush great-grandson will be president screwing up things like his forefathers...........we'll have triple-decker roads, one for cars, one for trucks, one for SUV's......we'll have a vaccination for cancer and AID's.........gay people will be accepted 100% into society......we'll put pedophiles, rapists, serial killers on an island and every 60 days drop a bomb on them......people will work from home......every family will have only 1 child......there will be no zoos, all animals will live freely in their own habitat.....there will be 2 Religions, all will believe in God, but 1 will believe in Jesus Christ and the other won't. Can you tell I've been thinking about this a lot? LOL LOL

Its funny that humans are in a never ending cycle of trying to make life easier and more comfortable. This trend will continue at the detriment of those who are poor. We will have new cures and we will have new diseases. Everything will be electronic and there will be computer terrorists who are able to bring down companys by way of computer. Life on the surface will be much easier, but new social problems will also arise due to a lack of person to person contact.

I got to use hope more than thought, my hope is that more people will be using spiritual principals moreso than religion, people will realize that body, mind and sport are whats important to a rewarding life, change in diet, exercise for the body, meditation and reflection for the mind,to find ones nature, to help and treat people equally for the spirit. Life extention will be the norm as more cures for disease will be available. As for inventions man o man the things I've seen in my lifetime from J.Verne's man on the moon to Dick Tracy's wrist radio,t.v. watch so use your wildest imagination on this one.
