that he does not expect you to wait for him... then i say well ok then I'll just get on with my life, then he says .. well don't you think there is a furture for us ?? what the hell does that mean... he's pretty mixed up just now about lots of things ...and says he needs time to sort himself out .. frig and i thought us women were confusing... my partner has done the same thing to me,
but im 5 weeks pregnant to him and he told me he wants a break and clear his head, and than in 2 weeks time, he than will consider if he wants a relationship with me.
so i had to take it, it was hard but i let him go, we still talk and etc but just nothing serious atm.
but like they say if u love them set them free if he doesnt come back it was never meant to be

I'm going through something sort of like that right now as well. It sounds like this guy doesn't want to give you up but he's not sure if he wants to "be" with you either. I say you give him space to figure out what he wants and you need space to decide if he is really worth all the trouble at all. Good luck with it, stay strong and remember everything in the end works out!

my internet love has the same problem, he's very hesitant, i once told him "there's a simple sentence that will end it all and keep us friends, just say this is not working and probably wont work"....and he replied saying "do u agree with what u just wrote"!!! ironic i know...mixed attitudes "want but afraid"...i think ur guy is like tht too, but "expect" means he wants to know whether u will wait or not, so u should hv said "i can wait"

Guys are selfish!! They say that you shouldn't wait on them only because they know we WILL! The minute it seems we are branching off, they have a fit, like we've betrayed them or something! I've been through this a few times. So now I pretend that I'm waiting on them just to boost their freggin ego! But in reality, I do my own thang!

It sounds like he wants you to choose to wait for him. I wouldn't do that if I were you, though. It sounds like he just wants to keep you as a backup. No woman deserves that.

it sounds like he doesn't want you, but he doesn't want anyone else to have you either..he wants to waiting around on him even though he told you not to..he wants you as a fall back in case other things don't work out..he's a selfish jerk.
