Yes, the first answerer is right. It sounds like a deer tick bite and lyme disease. This is a very serious illness that can cause neurological problems later on without treatment. Get to the doctor right away.

When one has a lesion of this type, it's not healthy for you to ask people on a website their opinion. You must get to a professional and let the doctor diagnose it. It sounds like a lot of things but without seeing it and getting your history of allergies, etc., you cannot get an accurate diagnosis. You could have a potentially life threatening bite or infection of some kind from who knows what!!! Go the the doctor soon!!!

Do you live in an area that has ticks or have you been outdoors (like on a camping trip or playing in a field or the woods.) Do you have a pet that could carry a tick. You can have a tick bite and never see the tick. It sound like that is what has happened to you. See your doctor. You need to be treated.

Seriously go to a doctor ASAP. It could be Lyme disease, a spider bite, a bit that you are allergic to, or a bite that is infected. In any case a doctor will be able to diagnose it correctly and get you the help you need.

This is known as a "target" lesion and could be indicative of Lyme disease, which is best treated in the stage you are in now to avoid long term complications. The treatment is simple, antibiotics. Please seek medical care promptly.
