what kind of coffeepot do you use?
I have 3 perk pots, 1 large, 1 small, and 1 electric.

auto drip coffee maker 12 cups everyday 7 days a week and usually all day in winter. When power goes out, I'm not above having boiled coffee just to get my fix!

Saeco Espresso Machine, fine quality beans that are fresh ground in burr grinder, and distilled water...Tap water's too darned hard on the machine!
I've had the "super machines", where they grind, tamp, make the espresso, and dispose of the grounds, but they're too finicky and prone to problems. Not worth the outrageous expense for the short lifespan. Makes darned fine coffee drinks in the beginning, though.

Regular electric coffee maker, with programmable start. Nothing like waking up and walking right to fresh coffee...

Depends how much coffee you will drink in one setting, coffee made fresh always tastes better. I have an electric programmable, set up the night before, coffee is ready in the a.m.

I drink enough coffee, that I purchased a commercial grade coffee maker bout 4 years ago. Its still going strong.

The best way is our Capresso which grinds the beans then makes the coffee, up to ten cups

I have a lovely little Moka Express coffee pot which is just perfect. I haven't had a good night's sleep since I bought it.

Automatic drip.. 10 cup.. but my family and I would only drink maybe 6.. We waste the other 4.. Two.. three cups max for me or I'm flying..
