If you are talking about Jesus saying ye are the salt of the earth i can explain.Salt is a seasoning and is used to cure meat like country ham etc.We are like that to this world if we follow Jesus's doctrine,we season the world,if it were not for the people that follow Jesus's doctrine this world would be in total darkness and there would be no season. Not seasons but flavor to the life. This might not make since to you but I assure you I am correct.Jesus said ye are the salt but if the salt has lost it's flavor it is no more fit but for the dung hill and ye are the light of this world and not to be under a table but on it that all that are in the room might see.

Salt is magical. The stuff of life and good health, we all need it; and it is great on french fries. Peanuts just aren't the same without salt. Heck I'm pretty salty myself, so if it's a salt covenant that spins your wheels look me up sugar, we could be a good mix; it surely would beat that old sweet and sour thing. As to why the good folk are unable to answer your salt related questions consider that they may not love salt or understand salt the way you do. Good luck with your questions, I hope you get the answer your looking for.

It was answered several times, and unless you had a specific meaning or answer in mind, these should suffice. If you did, are you "testing them" to prove a point?
Finally, what makes you think you are owed an answer on your time table? The question is still open, and the first was only asked 10 hours ago! You might want to get those "horses" under control there. Most of us don't answer these sort of questions on principle: We don't do homework for people, usually. If it is fairly easy to get online, we expect people to do their own homework. I doubt this is homework, but some may feel differently.

An Old Testament expression for an everlasting covenant .(Numbers 18:19)
BTW: Just because we follow Christ doesn't mean we claim to know everything!
