well that would souly depend on you and what kind of outing.... An outing with your boss you need be more conservative- maybe wine or beers...
Old friends (and you have a means of transportation to get home) GO ALL OUT BUDDY!!!!!!!!!!! Tequilla shots to start, then tequilla sunsets(topped with blackberry brandy-to give the night effect), MOVE on from tequilla, Alambama Slammers, (in the theme of sweet) try Black Haus shots (tasty), (now you are ready for the big leagues)
Red devils(NJ verson of the LI tea) a couple of those (now its time to party) if u can still stand try Mind Erasers-like 3- ummmh then you might want water......
But enough about me.... Drink whateva the hell you like... its your liver not mines... cuz mines has gone to shyt...............

depends on the kind of friends you are going out with - fuss pots try water, slightly bold go for beer, real connoisseur wine is the best, if you all are being driven home nothing like single malt from the isle of Isla

It all depends if I'm the designated driver or not. If I'm the DD then I usually have 7 up or Pepsi.. If I'm not, I usually have a Black Russian with lots of ice...

You sip a good brand of chilled tequilla like Patron or any high end tequilla, no shots, no hangover, no salt.
