The Harmony that regulates the workings of the universe reveals a plan which, by its very nature, posits the existence of an Intelligent Power. Consequently, it makes no sense to attribute the origin of all things to chance. Chance cannot produce anything like the creations of intelligence. If chance had the properties of intelligence, it wouldn't be chance.

To credit the beginning of all things to the essential properties of matter is to mistake an effect for a cause, since properties are themselves effects. There must be a First Cause.

Matter is a form of energy making your proposition actually work better. I can agree that Intelligence exists in the universe, but I cannot say to what extent. Are stars intelligent in a way that we cannot know? Does the whole universe have a single over-riding Intelligence? I dont find that to be likely. Different places have different flows, tides, and pools of energy and some places have an 'intelligence' all their own. I personally believe that our planet is, itself, a sentient intelligent being of whom we are a product of, and it shares its mental and spiritual being with us, it's children or Expressions.
Hmm. so I guess since different local areas have their own intelligence that is part of the whole, the whole could have an intelligence that is again just a part of a larger pattern. Ok, I can accept that. I choose to see the Beingness of some Intelligences as feminine, while others may have a masculine 'orientation'. This is, of course, imbuing a non-physical force with a human characteristic, but we must be able to relate to things in terms that we can understand. The biggest, and probably most complex too, of these patterns may be beyond our ability to conceive in any useful way. I could say that the planet is feminine, since She birthed us and shares Her consciousness with us. I could say that the Sun is Masculine since His influence fertilizes the Earth. How could one apply sexual being to the Galaxy? The Galaxy could be the unit by which an Intelligence is measured. There is alot of empty space, minus the Dark Matter, between galaxies, even the small galaxies that orbit the Milky Way.
Ok, so if the galaxy is the Intelligence that is broken down into the smaller areas that make up It's being, then what does that really mean to us? It's not some Hebrew war god that Moses promoted on a tiny planet halfway down one of It's arms. Since It shares It's being with us, It must have attributes that we can relate to, like Humor, Curiosity, Dedication, etc. It also has aspects that are entirely foreign to our nature of being.
Im not sure that It has a plan for each and every one of us. Things are. What you do with them is something different. Because something is does not mean that pre-determination or destiny really exist for large parts of reality. I think that things like that do happen, but the galaxy does not micro-manage all the stars and all the stars do not micro-manage all of the planets and all of the planets do not micro-manage all of the life they produce. Nope, no Great Plan for me. Thanks anyways.

I remember some famous guy saying this:
We are like mud in a mud puddle. We look around and say "Oh! Look at this hole in the ground. How it is perfectly suited to fit me just right!" when actually we are being shaped by the hole.
But I still don't rule out the possibility of the existence of a Supreme Being.

plz, we cannot simply assume stuff. chance has not made intelligence, its some other complex thing which we havent yet discovered. just beacuse this answer remains unsolved, we wil immediately say the answer is god. if all humans were so easy going, we wudnt have found electricity or space ships or whatever. and talking about harmnony, its slowly vanishing, the global warming and all that, we will bring our end unto ourselves, because of irresponsibility, nothing else.

And then along comes the Chaos theory. Where indeed chance and your posited intelligent power collide creating ....... the universe?
Unfortunately we are trapped with man-made words to explain inexplicable occurrences outside of our realm of understanding or experience.

so wheres your evidence for this intelligent design?

if complexcity implies design, then who created god? surely god is an infoinitely complex being.

feel free to give me some speaical pleading excuse that allows your god to be left out of logic...just say it...all the rules apply to everything EXCEPT god! how convenient...and then yo uwant us to take yo useriously when you make your claims? HA! good luck!

then who caused the first cause? and who caused the causer to cause the first cause?
