You can buy a battery charger specifically designed for use on 12v car batteries that plugs into a standard household electrical outlet. Any auto parts store or large chain store like Wal-Mart or Target should have one.

Go to any auto parts store and ask for a battery charger.Buy it.
Connect the red to the "+" on the battery and the black to the "-". Plug it in and wait for it to charge.

there are two ways one a set of jumper leads and connect to another persons car battery or purchase a battery charger of your own and keep check on your battery every week if you are only doing short journeys
