Okay, Football has/is evolving into a different game at national level. Don't get me wrong I can enjoy a game of football wether its the Spanish league, the Premiership or the kids playing on a sunday morning. But it seems we're not all playing the same game.
I suppose the question is, Should we roll around and harrass the officals a bit more if thats what it take's to win ?
Or try to preserve the game as I believe it was meant to be played ?

You'll usually find...those that claim to play great football spend most of their time diving around the pitch and cheating their way to victory. Unfortunately, that's become the norm in football now and seems to be accepted as a way to get results. Perhaps, Sepp Blatter and his minions at FIFA will stop messing with the rules of the game and think more about fair play. After all, getting a fellow professional and team mate at club level sent off spits right in the face of fair play, don't you think? Instead of eliminating tackles from football....straight reds should be given to cheats like Ronaldo & Carvalho and lengthy bans...without pay given instead.

A very good point........!!!!

The italians won their game against the Australians by blatant cheating..!!! The portugese fell all over the place and play acted at almost every opportunity.

FIFA was supposed to be stopping this behaivour, but Sepp Blatter has not mentioned it once.

Perhaps all players should be given classes in diving.....step up Christiano Ronaldo. Shame, as he is such an exciting footballer as well

A very good question - I would rather England play and loose with pride and dignity, than roll around on the grass and harass the referee - after all cheating just isn't British!

The players that roll around should be punished, but also the ones that lash out, Figo, Beckham, and Rooney included.
