i am using windows xp proffesional... some of ma folders got duplicated and the name was changed to 'folder name' .exe... and when i click it... my documents is displayed...and sometimes it makes my pc to shutdown abruptly... the duplicated folder was found inside the orginal folder... for example if there is a folder named "temp"...this virus or worm or whatever created a file inside the folder temp an it has the icon of a folder and with the name "temp.exe"...help me out...need a link to download a patch or fix....???

windows malicious virus removal tool ..then WIn XP PRO repair itself...download it from microsoft .com unless ur using XP Pro unregsistered...but u can still down load removal tool ..removal tool does not need validation code
