England upset me, but I'm glad Brazil lost. I don't care for them.

Yes, I'm annoyed about England's defeat. Annoyed with Rooney for his churlish act which got him sent off and probably cost us the game. How many England fans would like to kick him in the privates today?

Annoyed with the management. They have been paid a lot of money, and have had excellent players at their disposal, but have persisted in straight-jacketing them by playing negative football. With great attacking players, why have they set the team up not-to-lose, rather than play to win? Surely if you are going to win matches, negative 'catenaccio' type football is not the way to go about it, especially when we don't keep possession well enough.

I have never been too critical before because I always thought that England (management and players) would get it right this time around. 2002 and 2004 could be used as learning curves where we didn't yet have the experience or the players needed. This time round we did, and have played dosy, underwhelming football in each of the games.

Five years have yielded three quarter finals, when we probably had the players to win two of those tournaments. The potential of the 'golden generation' has been wasted.

I was sorry to see Brazil lose as I felt they were just starting to play better, and would probably have lit up the latter stages of the World Cup. However, I think the best team won on the night. France are gaining momentum. Watch this space...

England play well but they were bad luck and every body knew England they not good in penalty kick that does not mean Portugal was better than England and they were playing 10 too but they had more chance then Portugal to win the game even in 120 mints.
but they way Brazil was playing in front of France seems they were having fun they did not play seriously look at the game again even Brazil was loosing the match Ronaldo was smiling so I think France bought the game, even in France world cup look at the game Brazilian seems they did not care they loosed to France so easy and that time they were smiling too.
don't you think so?France is rich country and Brazil pure so money is more important than game for Brazilian.

If you watched both games from beginning to end you shouldn't be annoyed. The better team won.
England struggled and was a man down and Brazil has too many superstars to be a team. It was like watching the U.S. Basketball team lose in the Olympics.
