I always liked the people in the midwest. For the most part, they let you live your life without too much interference, even if they are a little nosy.
I grew up here, and after spending some time on the east coast, came back. I ran into a lot of snobs who think we all live on farms and are unsophisticated hicks.
I also think the skies here are beautiful, especially the sunsets!

Every area has pros and cons. The midwest offers a wide variety of cultural background. We have lots of great people and the weather changes frequently.

Being from the midwest, I would have to disagree.

there's not much to do and the towns are small and sometimes people tend to be more nosy a big city in the midwest is ok
