I've noticed that there are a lot of people who think the midwest "sucks" or "is boring." Me, I'm a fan of the midwest, and would love to know of others, but I'm also open to valid criticism. Why does the midwest "suck?"

I always liked the people in the midwest. For the most part, they let you live your life without too much interference, even if they are a little nosy.

I grew up here, and after spending some time on the east coast, came back. I ran into a lot of snobs who think we all live on farms and are unsophisticated hicks.

I also think the skies here are beautiful, especially the sunsets!

Every area has pros and cons. The midwest offers a wide variety of cultural background. We have lots of great people and the weather changes frequently.

Being from the midwest, I would have to disagree.

Not that I have any valid support for that statement- it just doesn't "sucks".
