That was a very good political statement. And another lie. Lord he was lying from the beginning even before he was Pres. If he had followed through on that statement we wouldn't be where we are now!!!

I think people should stop asking if Bush was right, and just deal with the present situation. We can't go back and change it now, so why get all upset over it.
It's the same as everyone asking if it was right to go to Iraq. It doesn't matter anymore, because we are already there. It's stupid to say that we should just pull our troops out, because otherwise how have we helped them? We would only have helped in replacing one evil government with another. Plus showing the terrorists that we have to back-bone or follow through.
So whether or not we should have gone, or whether or not Bush was right, does not matter one bit. What matters is what we do now with our present situation.

I should have voted for the other guy.....

I am neither a liberal, conservative, or even really anything. I fall closest to libertaritan.

I think that Gee Dubleya heeds to pull his head out of the sand for sure. He is surrounded by *some* brilliant people. If only he would just LISTEN to them, lol!!!!!!!!!!

NO I think Bush is WRONG. I think he puts TOO much emphasis on patriotism as a way of enforcing blind faith in bad government. Being patriotic does not mean that you have to trust the government to have your best interests at heart. The Nazis were patriotic too! Look what they ended up doing! Thats not patriotic, to just follow along in mass extermination, and it shouldnt apply to muslims, either, even if some muslims are terrorists! Im SICK of everyone cheering this war on.

**Bring our troops home safely- and do it SOON**

NEver was, never is and never will be. Its just u r American luck that u r represented by such a freak. I know not all Americans think like Bush says but if u dont like it then u shud have chosen another president. Why Bush again?
THis also indicates that many Americans scream abt how they think Bush is wrong but when it comes down to voting they vote him bcoz they are as diplomatic as Bush is. Coz whole American nation is diplomatic and mean.
I am a American too.

In my opinion,we have to go on with our life and it is not the Right or wrong issue because,it is history and we are at this Now stage and we should know better. In our new Election,I urge you to vote for the most qualify party and a new leadership.WE American should read and read about what our policy makers are doing and keep our eyes on them, and then educate people around us about our policy in the middle East.People who educate around the world knows how kind our people are and not every American wants to go to war and the truth will speaks for it self.

Right about what? Sometimes he's right; sometimes he's not. On the whole he's done a pretty good job. The economy is rocking; there haven't been any more terrorist attacks in the U.S.; American citizens have more freedoms in their lives than anyone else on the planet--and it's not even close. Life is good in America and frankly America remains the greatest force for good acting in the world--and it's not even close.

It's not that we have been told to hate, we just see the results
of people who are trying to change our country to suit their needs.
We like it just the way it is. Sometimes we do need an improvement, and we do it without having a civil war.
How many other countries can say that ?
As for Pres. Bush, I would not want to be in his shoes.
But, his job is to keep America safe....AT ALL COSTS !

We are a humble nation. We live in a gall house and everybody views us in a criticizing manner. We are somewhat the youngest nation in the world and other nations are jealous of our accomplishments. They need to get over it.

Inconsistency is the least of his many flaws. His words were somewhat on target, but then he's incapable of writing his own speeches. He's a pawn and an ineffectual figurehead.
