It is not for others to make or break the belief of any one, it is for oneself to make, preserve, maintain or break one's belief. Belief is a judgment/faith/trust of someone about some other person or any thing or an event. If it breaks it means something was wrong in our own thinking about that object and it has not gone as per our thinking. So where is the other person coming into picture for breaking it. Actually it was the person himself who was under wrong impression about certain person or thing or event.

And we are blaming others for our own errors of judgment!!

We may also be breaking beliefs of others about ourselves by not getting upto their expectations, for some reason or the other.
