I would love to see Portugal get up... but Germany does look strongest of the remaining four. Portugal will be much better next time out with a full strength team...but so will the competition! I think (hope!) they can get past France, but who knows from there...
I don't know of anyone who honestly had these four picked as their semi-finalists !

Portugal as a team was just lucky enough to b in the semi finals...without David B. n Rooney later on ,the England team was only struggling...so they lost!! So i dont think it will b Germany v/s Portugal...it could b Germany v/s France and then may b Germany could lift the cup..........may the best team win

If it ends up a Germany V portugal final I hope Germany win. After what I saw yesterday I do`nt think portugal deserve to win a egg-cup

Yes they both have a chance - especially Germany, who are playing nice attractive attacking football, and have home advantage. Portugal have some very good players, and Deco, etc. returning from suspension - they could win too, but personally think they will need to improve, as they struggled to create much against 10-man England.

Maybe Germany but not Portugal. I think France will be in the final playing either Germany or Italy.

i think france and germany will emerge to the finals....but then again, italy is a very strong team, and the ball is round, and so anything can happen, and im sure, the italy's victory of 3-1 in the friendly over germany will boost their confidence...
portugal in otherwise will still give competition and shake the defence force of france, the match really depends on the strategy used and how the players perform...victory against england will encourage them whilst france's win against world's best team, brazil will also make them feell confident in winning...

Germany yes, they've been consistent and shown the right attitude from the first day. Portugal, well...if this average side continues to dive and cheat their way through matches who knows...Personally i'd say France are the most likely after the Germans.

Only if they get to play. A team of drunk monkeys would "have a chance" of winning the world cup if they got a chance to play. I am SO sick of the same assinine, REDUNDANT sports questions. No doubt in a few more months every dumb armchair jock will be posting "Do you think the Tigers will take the pennant?"
