I need to know whether these two sentences make sense in german. (punctuation, gramma etc)

Wir gehen zum Picknick an einem allgemeinen Park. Er ist während der Sommerferien.

(We are going to the picnic at a public park. It will be during the summer holidays.)

Public park is "Öffentliches Park"
Er... you say the Picknick is a he. Use 'Es'.
Die Sommerferien. For some reason ferien is plural.

But if you are talking will be (going to) ... You wrote we go (like now)

Wir werden zum Picknic in ein öffentliches Park gehen. Es wird wärend die Sommerferien sein.

Wir gehen zum Picknick in einem oeffentlichen Park. Es wird waehrend den Sommerferien stattfinden.
Picknick= n, Park= m, be=sein or stattfinden, "ae" and "oe" because my computer doesn't have the two periods for Umlaut
