I think you are just angry because white people are trying NOT to fit into your sterotype of them.
They are passing anti-discriminatory laws, when you'd like them to keep discriminating against minorities so you can continue to demonize them.
People change. People CAN improve. Look at the Germans. Do you think all Jews resent everything Germans do and say? The new generation is NOT the same as the Nazis. Likewise, the latest generation of whites is NOT the same as the slave owners and segregationists of old.
I understand that there will never be a time to forgive and forget, because some things are unforgiveable and should not be forgotten. However, it is unfair to blame the sons for the crimes of the fathers -- especially when the sons are trying to rectify the damage that the fathers did!

s someone who has been the victim of reverse discrimination, I will have to say that some minorities are fair and some aren't. Racism, injustice and inequality comes in all colors. The laws we have in America serve and protect ALL Americans. So I have to disagree with you pretty much entirely on this one. I think you need to look in the mirror and find out why that person is such a racist themself.

The first thing I have to say is quit living in the past. The second thing I have to say is that it looks like your the one who is having a problem with us white people. You have to realize that it is not just us white people making the rules and I'm tired of having to walk on egg shells in order not to say the wrong thing (it's not just races but with religions as well). I have nothing against people of different races but I'm tired of hearing about how everyone is so unfair and that how everything is so unjust. We as a human race have come a long way from way back when and we all should be proud of the accomplishments that have been made. So next time you have a comment about how everything is unjust why don't address our multi racial leaders about it.

You are on a no-brainer here I'm afraid.
What laws do you believe are racist? Tell us what they are, and we can discuss that. Making a blanket statement with no proof, evidence, or even without explanation will not get you the answers.
Are there any ethnic minorities in govt. today?
Of course... So what is your point, that minorities should be allowed seperate laws to everyone else? That is racial discrimination.
From my own observation the most racism left around today in developed countries can be found in the ethnic minorities against the ethnic majority, you are compounding this.

racism, injustice, inequality is practiced in today's society not only by whites but by minorities against other minorities as well. Indians, Chinese, Hispanics, Jews, and people of European descent all live and share the land but don't interact with each other. If you apply for a job in a business pertaining to people other than your own race, I am pretty sure you wouldn't get it. I think that whites, and their laws are better equiped to guarantee a certain degree of fairness for all. Go to countries that are not governed by whites and see what freedoms and priviledges you'll get......

So you want to have a legal distinction between races and allow only one portion of the population the right to vote? Now who did you say was racist?
Tell me. What would happen in my case? I am White. My family immigrated to the US after the Civil War. My husband is Black. He is from West Africa, from one of the biggest slave trading posts on the continent. He is probably descended from the tribes that captured and sold the slaves to the Portuguese traders. Most of the slaves his family would have sold ended up in Haiti and then on to the US. Our child, who will be an American citizen but who may never live in America, will be Black. Should he/she have the right to make this decision, or should he/she be banned with all the Whites?

Okay, you have just performed a racist act yourself! I mean come on and honestly think...you have succumbed to segregation of color in your comments. I have blonde hair and blue eyes...I don't look at skin color but what a person can offer to society. I even have family members that I know are white trash; I love them; but they are not valuable to society and only take away from it and continue doing so over and over again.
I am white and do not think anyone is beneath me, we are all human and deserve the respect we offer to each other. I am also a woman who is also said to be oppressed, but I am intelligent and confident and by that I have learned that ignorance truly is bliss and I am not what anyone who doesn't know me can judge me by. I have accepted that people can be ignorant and I just know that I am more than that.
Society needs to just stop feeling like they are victims. We are only victims if we allow ourselves to be victims. There are a lot of people who just see people as people. I simply look at society and know that there are good and bad people and they come in many colors (white included) and I just keep myself and family safe based on my own instincts. I would much rather talk with a person who is not white or of any color than a person who is not all together there and that would harm me or my family.
There are stereotypes out there, but as humans we create them and not all of those humans are white. Stop feeling opressed and work on yourself so you know you are not one of those stereotypes.
I would love to tell the world that color is nothing, instead I just consider the source and move on. If we could change the world it would be much better but only if we were doing it for the world and not ourselves.
Be humble and do the best you can, it will be recognized. We all are the same underneath...to avoid opression, we must move past it and be the best people we can be.
And to all of those who feel so oppressed by us whites, go back to the home country that sold you to us and live there or just become humanized and intelligent. This is just insane.
The intelligent whites no longer want to pay for the fact that your own people sold you into slavery. We are not the people who bought you but the people who live with you and want to live in harmony...get over it, we may not have been beaten but raped in our past and we don't hold it against you. It's the past and we have to move on. Do you honestly think white people have a club to continue this wrath placed upon you by your own people?

I have encountered a lot of black on white prejudice in my experience. I know for sure, many blacks in the USA have huge prejudice problems and blame whites for problems of their own making.

If it weren't for white people you wouldn't have an America to whine in stupid. Shut up and be thankful you are here in America and not in Africa. Black people don't seem to be doing so well there.
