convex and concave.
Convex are like rear view mirrors or the mirrors on the front of a school bus. They always make images that are virtual, upright (erect), and reduced.
Concave mirrors are like the mirror in a makeup kit where one mirror gives you your regular reflection but the other mirror makes your face look bigger. Concave mirrors can give you a virtual image that is erect and magnified, like with your makeup kit, or they can give you a real image. The real image will always be inverted, but may be larger or smaller. The mirror in your makeup kit is giving you the magnified, erect, virtual image because you are closer to the mirror than the focal point is. The same mirror will give you real images if you use it from a distance that is farther away.
The type of image you get with a concave mirror will depend on where the object and and the mirror are placed relative to one another.

all answers are correct, but here's a real easy way to demonstrate a curved mirror:
Take a regular clean table spoon. Look at on side .. then turn it to the other side..you've just seen the effects of the two types of curved mirrors..

Curved mirrors are those things that people use to see around corners. Usually, they're used in supermarkets so cashiers can look behind the shelves when they're stuck at the counters, just to make sure no one's doing anything unappropriate. They are also used in places where there are walls and tight corners, so people don't run into each other, whether walking or in cars.

Convex or concave, depending on application, usually used to see around corners and such, look in an old gas station or supermarket, they'll probably have one on the ceiling somewhere.
