Apart from US !
I'd have to say the Great White...
If one of these guys takes an interest in you there is nothing you can do. You are going to die.
These guys are the biggest toughest sharks out there, cunning, and super successful hunters. (Yeah yeah, whale sharks are bigger, but unless you're krill you're safe !) Because of this they just swim around arrogantly... which ... well.. they can be.
They have pretty good vision, and can sense electrical emmissions / vibrations giving them a kind of 3D radar like sense. But if they come across something they don't recognise, they're apt just to bite it a bit to see if it tastes good.... (I never said they were smart!) For humans, this is where it all goes downhill...
If that two tonnes of killing machine was hungry, you never even saw him coming... the first moment you realised a shark was close was the moment he grabbed you. He probably bit off a good percentage of your body in that first mouthful so maybe you're already dead. Maybe he's decided you taste good and actually eats you. There's enough stories around to say that he doesn't much like the taste though, so perhaps he just swims off into the distance... leaving what is left off you to blubber for a few seconds while your life ebbs out into the ocean.
Of course, he might not be hungry at all ! It seems he has a kind of curiousity, where he just wants to know what you are. He just pushes you around a bit, bites your legs off, throws you in the air like a rag doll before losing interest... either way your end is coming pretty quickly...
All of this adds up to an incredibly dangerous animal, but thankfully one which humans are rarely in contact with...
Another way to look at the question would be which animal claims more lives ? And I understand bees kill more people than any other animal... But I know which one I would rather not meet !

Dear Friend, I am sorry some of the other respondents have chosen to be "cruel," in their replies. As far as I have studied the most dangerous animal is actually a reptile...the viper (both the reptilian and the human kind). They are deadly and so devious that you are unaware of them until you are bitten. The Ancients used to say, "Be Viligent, Be Alert of Vipers." They strike when you least expect it. I hope this helps. You grasping sod. The Host (Korean Flick very good) King Gheeodorah (the excellent form of eastern monster movies I dont might desire to record them in case you like Godzilla) The Blob is alright Cloverfield is obtrusive Tremors is a semi-tongue in cheek action picture approximately killer worms. well worth a seem quite. Piranha 2 (directed by employing James Cameron i.e. Terminator and aliens) demands no words this action picture is hilarious. Reign of hearth is a funky dragon action picture. very severe-high quality specific outcomes don't be indignant by employing the silliness.
