South Korea what kind of country?

South Korea is in the Korean peninsula which is attached to China, and just across the sea to Japan. Mountain covers 70% of the land, making it one of the mountainous regions in the world.
The first kingdom, Gojoseon was formed in2333 BC.and the last Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910 ) was ended by the invasion of the Japanese army. Ended the Japanese occupation in 1945, and was divided into 2 country as South & North.
North invaded South in1950, agreement was signed in 1953.
They preserved tradition and pay most respect to their elders.
They are very competitive., have sound sense of duty, die hard attitude and family oreinted people.

An Asian country really good at football ( I couldn't believe it when they equaled France in the world cup) and really good in producing electronics, a new rival to japan I think. overall I have a very good opinion of it which is more than I can say for North Korea.

Great place to visit in Asia. Delicious food-especially Korea's roadside munchies. Lots of shopping districts & bustling night life. And hey, if you're at the right place at the right time, you might see a protest/strike going on! (:

my favorite place in the whole world. I would say seoul is like new york city, so exciting and fast paced. Food is delicious, views are amazing. Things to do anytime...day or night. People are friendly, even if you dont speak korean well.
