megabytes are bigger than kilobytes (million is greater than thousands) so 1.16 mb
if this is related to the internet, then if your speed is 1.16 mb thats way faster than 27k

1.16mb is much bigger than 27k
8bits = 1 byte
1024 byte = 1kb
1024 kb = 1 mb
1024 mb = 1Gb
1024 gb = 1Tb

See:
1byte=8 bits
1 KB=1024B
1MB=1024KB
1GB=1024MB
so 1.16MB=1.16*1024, so 1.16MB is bigger than 27KB, if B means Byte.

27k would be about the size of a picture that you take on a phone... when camra phones first came out. Now I think they are better quality so they would take up more memory. 1.16mb would be.... about the size of one of the older consle games. Not the ancient ones. Like Playstation or N64. That would be about their size... I think.
EDIT: Why do you want to know?
