It is true that it now looks like a european tournament, but to us true footy fans it doesn't matter whether it's the UEFA Euro 2008 or the 2006 Germany FIFA World Cup , we just want to see good quality football, and let's face it, the best football leagues are in Europe so it's no surprise that only European nations still survive this late in the tourney.

HELLO the only reason why you think Europe has one of the better football leagues is because they buy South American players. Read statistics and then talk. South American players are born talented, and then Europe buys them. Unfortunately for the Europeans the purchased players play for their home countries for when it's international leagues. Example (Messi from Argentian plays for barcelona, Ronodhilno from Brazil plays from barcelona, Deco from Portaugal is Brazilian, Hernan Crespo from Argentina plays for Chelsi in england, Ronaldo from Brazil plays in spain, so does Riquelme, would you like me to continue??

Even though none of my teams actually made it, i'm stil interested because i just like watching the games because some can be pretty exciting and others can be alittle boring but you never know what will happen each game so it's fun to see!

FIFA football World Cup is always interest because it is played by more than billion of population in the world. the billion of population is the true player of the tournament. without them, no matter which team play, there is nothing interesting about it.
for Pamela, your soul is too weak. your soul can be bought with money.
the South America players want to play in Europe league not only because of the amount of money they can get. the player come to Europe to play the highest quality football. in Europe, they will play against best players from around the world including Park Ji sung from South Korea, Hidetoshi Nakata from Japan, Michael Essien from Ghana, Mark Viduka from Australia, Kasey Keller from United states, Fernando Torres from Spain, David Beckham from England, Ronaldinho from Brazil, Lionel Messi from Argentina, Rafael Márquez from Mexico, and more. i believe if all player only interest in money instead of playing in best league in the world, they will all go to Middle East countries league to play for money.
my country sends players to train in Europe leagues instead of South America league. in another words, my country pays money to Europe Club to receive them.
Europe clubs have good management in football that make them the best in the world currently.
