Have you never heard of Wikipedia...these are all mythical creatures of differing legends from different parts of the world. I think a selkie is supposed to be a mer-person, part female and part sea lion or seal..an Irish myth. A menotaur is Greek and its a monster type guy with a mans body and a bulls head...typically haunts labyrinths and stuff. I ferget what a satyr is..but I think its a part goat or horse and part human...so there ya are. I hope this helps...Love in Christ, ~J~

A satyr is a mythological creature that is a man from the waist up, and a goat from the waist down. The satyr is known for his extreme lust.
The Minotaur is another mythological creature that has the head of a bull and the body of a man.
Selkies are "mythological creatures in Irish and Scottish mythology that can transform themselves from seals to humans, where "selkie" is simply the Orcadian word for "seal"." (From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selkie)

A satyr is a half man, half goat creature that lives in the wood. A selkie, I think, is a seal-like creature that can borrow human skin and disguise itself as a person. A mentaur is a bull creature that stands on its hind legs, has the intelligence and strength of a man, and is real mean.
