Once in a while, when my computer is turned off and i try to turn it on it doesnt work. I turn it on it goes to the loading windows part before it says welcome and just dies after it "loads" Windows. A window comes up, like a warning one. In the title bar it says "isass.exe" or something like that. In the window it says not enough virtual memory or some post quota or something like that, it also says different things but i cant remember what all it says. But if I just leave it off for a while it doesnt do it. ANY help is appreciated! I am running XP Pro on a Desktop just to let you know.

isass.exe is registered as the Optix.Pro virus which carries in it's payload, the ability to disable firewalls and local security protections, and a backdoor capability

that sounds like bad memory(ram) I think or the power supply is just about to go or cmos battery is almost dead

if you do not have these two programs on your computer I suggest you buy them they are great and a life saver!

the first program is called spyware doctor and that guards your computer from ad popups that pop on your computer that will NOT go away and remove adware, melware, and and other nasties that is $19.95 can be downloaded at netscape.com buy the program!

the second program is norton's 2006 antivirus without firewall since you run xp this will delete any viruses you got running around your computer

and between the two programs they cover everything the other program was not designed to do

Well, I'm not sure if this is a fix or not for you, but isass.exe is a known virus. You should make sure your virus scanning software is up to date and run a full system scan.

open your computer to the desktop, if it will, go to start, acessories and look for scan disk, you may have an error on the c drive that will fix the proplem, make sure all other windows run programs are closed for now(messengers, antiviruses, ect.).

it might be a program error or a system error due to frequent improper shut down. How do you usually shut down your computer?

c'mon dude...
I think we can't resolve such problems...
and even if u consult a specialist at the end of the day...
he'd be reinstalling ur XP...
so do it ur self and save ur bucks....

check for bulging/leaking capacitor/s on the motherboard, of course you'll have to open your PC.
