when an elevator is on a free fall, the apparent weight of the body inside becomes zero which makes us feel at zero gravity.
elevator at free fall falls down with an acceleration equal to accn. due to gravity.

this is when inertia would play a part.you are moving with a constant velocity in the elevator and so a sudden (has to be sudden, why would u go in a freefalling elevator!!!!) freefall would cause u an uplift in the air towards the top.and that is how u would feel weightless.

U would feel the weightlessness,if u take ur weight in a freefall lift it would show zero reading,this all is the magic of gravitational force

ya if u will free fall down through elevator u will experiencre weightlessnes and fell like ur going topwards. this is due to the gravitational force

You would fall right along with it (at the same rate too). The only difference in forces would be that you are no longer pushing against the floor (or the floor pushing against your feet) because the floor is falling at the same velocity (and acceleration) your feet are.

you would feel like you were skydiving or bungee jumping. and jumping when the elevator hits the bottom will not make any difference whatsoever
