I’ve had quite a few Vietnamese friends over the years. They’re hard working entrepreneurial people who almost always see the bright side of any situation. Good friends to have around.

Vietnamese generally? Nothing.. I hear their soldiers are excellent at gorilla warfare.. and have seen many very gorgeous vietnamese women.. i'm from US.. and don't think anything bad about them.. don't have a clue why we were there in the first place..

crazy history, new generation working for better future.
Such a small place for so many foreigners too die. People are hard workers.

hardworking, tough, deciplined and smart.
not many country can hold off another bigger countriy armed with better & more modern weapons for so long and eventually drove them out.
