I have only read one. I was very disappointed because I knew the minute he named the character that he was the one who was going to be the bad guy. He should not have given it away like that - it completely ruined it for me. Knowing the outcome before you're more than a few pages in makes the conclusion a non-event. The book wasn't that good, either. False Memory, I think it was called.

Dean Koontz wrote a book (I cannot remember the title) with what I call the BEST WORST FIRST LINE EVER. "The hard, cold rain nailed the night to the city." Man, you have to respect trash like that!!!!

Yep, he's one of favorites as well. Koonz is a good storyteller as well as imaginative writer. He also wrote the scariest book I've ever read Intensity, the book on tape will make your skin crawl

Not as much as I used to. His earlier books were much better. More of his later ones seem to have an underlying religious them - it seems like he got religion and is trying to use his books to pass it on.
