What is providence? Name the 2 branches of providence and give examples of each type?

(Divine) Providence is the control God has over events in our everyday lives. Two types include "prevenient Grace" - the grace that God provides so that any person has the ability to do right and please God. Then there's "saving grace" - the grace God provides so that we may become Christian. There are lots of other types, such as food, the ability to exist etc.
