I miss mine soo much. I use to always have my shirt up day and night just rubbing my belly and watching my baby move before she got too big. When she got too big to actually move around she would always have her feet in the same spot in my side...thats when I began rubbing her lil feet all the time.

I have three children, ages 9, 7 & 6. I have a theory about missing your pregnant belly or pregnancy in general. I think we have our baby 'quota'. When I had my 2nd child, my husband and I said we were done having children. When I would see my friend with pregnant bellies or other women pregnant, I would feel that pang of missing being pregnant. Well, God had other plans and I got pregnant with our third child while on the pill and nursing our second! Well, that third baby was MY personal baby quota. After she was born and I would see a pregnant woman, there were no pangs and I was almost giddy because I had my body back, I could see my feet, tie my own shoes, etc. :) So, I had reached my baby quota! So, yes, there was a time that I missed my PG belly! It's an amazing time for any woman, but I think that you will reach a point when you don't feel this way. When you do, look at your beautiful baby who's feet you can still rub!

Yeah, I think every woman experiences this a little bit. Think about it, you had that belly for 9 months and then all the sudden, its gone! It is almost like we experience a loss. It is so strange how post partum hormones give us so many emotions. I was told that I was having a boy and had a girl instead. Sometimes when I look at my boy clothes that I had bought, I feel like I have lost a child. It will go away and you will enjoy not having that huge stomach, just wait for your hormones to regulate, I am!!

My husband and I have 4 children and our youngest will be a year old in September. We're done having children but I still miss being pregnant, getting to know the new life within, being able to protect him or her from the world...
That doesn't mean I want more children - I had my tubes tied for a reason. Our family is complete. :)

I still have mine but I know I am going to miss her being in there when shes born. It's so awesome when you feel her wiggling around in there or she makes me giggle and nobody else knows why i am laughing. It's the ultimate bonding experience.

You'll get over it. Or just be like Brittney and get knocked up again right away. Or look at it this way- when you're 50 you'll get that belly back again!

I don't have a belly, at least not yet, but it's something I'm looking forward to. It seems like it would be amazing...
