I don't think that it's a good idea myself. It might stop me sleeping so soundly because it restricts breathing. Unfortunately bras restrict lung capacity and can weaken the pectoral muscle that supports the breast so probably not best to wear one 24/7. Also the skin on your breasts might need a bit of a breather sometimes just like your feet look nicer if you wear sandles for a bit rather than shoes.
I do wear a bra in the day time if my clothes look ok with one because it's more socially acceptable. I don't like the stares that I get from men when I don't wear one. But if I could just go without one and not worry what people would think, i most certainly would. However my breasts are only a B cup, I can understand that women with larger breasts require a bra for comfort.

Some believe it isn't good for your health to wear a bra 24/7, if at all.The problem with bras is that they can block the circulation of the lymph system.
Try this: at the end of the day, take off your bra and look in the mirror. If you can see lines on your skin left by the bra, it is too tight. Cut the elastic in the back and sew in another small piece of elastic. Repeat the test the next day.
However, bras that alter our shape, push our breasts up, have under wire, or cut off our circulation are associated with health concerns for women.
According to research on women’s health, the more time spent without a bra, the better. You can take off your bra when lounging at home and, of course, while sleeping. Plenty of time spent bra-less allows you to learn what is natural and comfortable for your breasts.
In one study, women wearing bras that were dangerously tight or restrictive were asked if their bras were comfortable. They said they were. Over the centuries, women have become accustomed to a variety of clothing that was detrimental to our health.

As long as it is not too tight and not interfering with your circulation or breathing, then it should not be a problem. It really is a matter of individual preference.
You should be aware that there is no truth to the rumor that wearing a bra to bed will stunt your breast growth. Another myth is that wearing a bra while sleeping helps to offset gravity and preserves form. Simply not true. Sagging is related to other issues that have nothing to do with bra wearing

No, according to the book I've read, Health and Home Book it is not healthy to wear bras during the night because it will cause breast cancer. In our place, they believe that wearing bras during the night will make their boobs more bigger, but that is a wrong belief!

Yeah, I don't feel comfortable sleeping without one, and I have an underwire as well. Granted, I am a DDD, so that comes into play, but it's still just fine to wear your bra at night, but if you sweat a lot during the day it's best to change into a new one so that you don't get pimples in that area, pimply boobs-not too sexy.

I wear a bra virtually 24/7
Mine DOES NOT have an underwire, though. Underwire bras can be uncomfortable during the night.

I don't know of any clinical reason..except to just let them get some air..is there a reason that you do wear a bra 24/7?..I am sure you are not alone in doing this..if you are comfortable then go for it.

Yeah I wear my bra all the time when I am not swimming or taking a shower. I think it gives them more support.
