Why do you think Brazil lost the Quarter Finals in FIFA World Cup 2006?

Was it really that team Brazil was not upto the mark this time? Was there something missing this time?

After that match, I'm really thinking there was something strange going on in the Brazil team. Have you ever seen a game where Brazil never shoots on goal within 90 minutes? Have you ever seen a game where nothing, I mean nothing works? Have you ever seen a game where the players do not laugh?
As we know today what happened 8 years ago in the final of the world cup in the same match, Brazil vs. France, I really think yesterdays game was played behind the scene with big money. Before the final of the world cup '98, Ronaldo was very ill, 3 hours before the game he was in the hospital. The trainer announced the team without him, but now, we all know that the sponsors insisted for him to play. Either he was playing (no matter if Brazil looses) or they would have loosed their main sponsors, and that means money.
This world cup, proved more than once that money is more important than sports, Germany as the home team are the main favorites and are pushed from the back to advance to the final and maybe win. Zinedine Zidane will retreat after the world cup and he is an very important player, one of the best our planet has seen. I really think they want him to leave glorious. He is good, but yesterdays game was his "best", there is no player that wins all balls, all dribblings, gives all passes that good like him yesterday. There was something else that helped him.
I don't want to sound crazy about the Brazilian team now, but what we have all seen, was not football.
Maybe in a few years we will know what really happened, even if I don't think because this was not the final or semifinal.

Anyway, Brazil is now out, but I hope neither France nor Germany will win. I want to see a final with Portugal vs. Italy, even it is impossible. There were to many world cups were the home team won the final, I hope not this year.

They lost because they didn't play well. That's why. The French are playing much better than the Brazilians.

i think they lost the match was they were petrified about losing and could not focus on the job in hand of playing to their potential

maybe b'coz they dldn't play well or the other way round maybe b'coz france played well.
or it can also be that they were over confident.......
