No. Not even close. He's surly and abrasive. I worked at his restaurant in Florida and he was definitely unpleasant, even more so to the ladies who worked there. Some police officers I know say he's got serious gambling problems. He could be found in race tracks and casinos way too often.
I always find it so false when he stands around talking about how he doesn't care about going to the Hall of Fame, that he's more concerned with "coaching young players" and "sharing his knowledge and experience." If this were true why doesn't he coach College baseball he's not banned from doing it, or Independent Ball.

Pete Rose is a great person which is sometimes underscored by his competitiveness. He signs autographs, talks to anyone, and has never thrown a game.

Occording to stories I have read and heard, Pete Rose is one of the biggest jerks in the history of sports.

pete rose is an arrogant,snobbish rude individual.
he has little respect for the fans who have looked up to and supported him over the years.

I donno about Pete Rose, but has anybody noticed how good David Ortiz is to his fans.. he is always signing autographs and talking to them. Now he's a good guy
