Making love is more than just sex. A lot more. It's not only a physical connection, but an emotional and dare I say, spiritual connection as well. Making love is exactly that, a physical expression of deep love.
Sex, on the other hand, is just...that. Sex. If you don't love the person you're with, then all you're doing is having sex. Making love and having sex are one in the same, but you can definitely have sex with no strings attached and that is by no means making love.

Sex is an extreamly personal thing. While fulfilling a biological role of continuing the species, it is something also used to unite two people together. It is the manifestation of showing the love you have for each other.
Today sex has been trivialized too much, and so for much of the western world, it probably would not be appropriate to use the term "making love", becuase there is no love involved. People cannot understand that there can be a relationship before sex.

...because people SAY lots of things without thinking. Some stupid person somewhere said it once and another stupid person heard(or misheard)them and told another stupid person. Sex can be the total opposite of love. Sex is physical. Love is Spiritual. Physical does not make Spiritual, hence, sex does not make love. Sometimes sex is an expression of love, but not Love's origin. Sex can't make you love if you don't. Sex can't make a heart feel something it won't. Bonnie Ratt sang a song... something like that. Oh, and Tina Turner sang..."What's Love Got To Do, Got To Do With It?" Ah, ah, ah! Sing it, Tina!

the two are completely different but in today's world people are making it look the same. today people just want to have sex with anyone they can find like dogs. no meaning to it. just a physical pleasure that people want to experience now.
before making love meant with the person you really love and not divorce after 2-3 yrs. the meaning of love has changed too. people just say i love you and get on with life and then dnt get married or even if they get married they go for divorce after few years. so that aint love.
i could go on and on but i guess ill leave it till this . hope i answered your question.

Not everyone says that. In fact, a very influential rapper said the exact opposite in his most famous song "In Da Club":
" I'm into having sex, I ain't into makin' love..."
Yeah, that's right. Not even 50 Cent thinks makin' love is the same as sex!

first off, it is making, not makeing, and secondly, making love is what two people do when they are in love with each other, having sex is what two people do when they are in lust with each other.
