The person's probably gone by now...If not,then he must be a desperado seekin to kill u,take u to another state and sell ur internal organs,ur eyes,ur kidneys,ur liver and bury the rest of u.......BOL

Hi, I wouldn't open the door to a stranger if I was alone. However, you could ask through the door who they are and what they want. Ex: if their delivering something let them leave it by the door and when your sure they left you could open up and check.

Grab your gun go to the door but stand off to the side and ask who it is.
If you know them let them in, if not tell them through the door that you are going to call the police. (and do call)
If the person breaks in you have to defend yourself. But the call to the police prior to that provides a record that you took the proper steps.

well is there anyway to tell who it is and if they are in a state of emergeny without opening the door?a window or something?because that would be your best bet.do not open the door if it is a stranger.

what does the person look like? grab the phone and a knife just in case. good luck. make lots of noise and act like theres a bunch of people there

Why don't you ask who it is? Or look out the window or peephole or something. If it's someone suspicious, call the cops!

I can hear them knoocking but I know there is no one home in your upstairs. It is vacant and has nothing but some cob webs there.
