Live alone and it's better than watching TV. But also I look at some of the questions that I know nothing about and read the answers and actually learn something. I search the web a lot too for some of the answers and also learn there.

Its a nice break at home or at work. You get pleasure of answering random question. You can give your view unintrupted. You can read what others have replied to the same question. You are connected to the world, people & their thoughts. Sometimes you get acknowledged. Your answer gets rating of "Best Answer"
Its not just number of points that are important, points just helps a little to keep coming back to yahoo answer.

A lot of the answers are pretty worthless, but I like to think this could be a genuinely valuable service, and try to give people real answers to questions I think I could speak to. Like yours.
