assesment home,and made to pay himself...As for Beckham you was quite a good player, but its close to pasture time..As for the Manager, he dresses as if he's going to a wedding rather than a game of soccer. why has'nt he given the team some acting lessons and swimming lessons (learning to dive etc).. as ive said before we have had a Turnip picking the team(Graham Taylor) Now we are getting rid of the Swede (another kind of Turnip) We are now about replace with a Parsnip (another kind of turnip) where do it all end..Anyway ive had enough of the prima donnas of the international team,

I agree, especially about the Rooney hype. I wish people would stop blaming Ronaldo for being "selfish" against his teammate Rooney, because if the ref felt that that deserved a red card, Ronaldo did have the right to do whatever he felt necessary that was within the rules to have his current team, Portugal, win. England was over-hyped, and I never expected them to pass the Round of 16. They are all right as a team, but not something spectacular enough to advance much farther.

Just reading the answers and something caught my attention. Is it true that the English Premier League is the best? I don't think so although I watch the matches every week. Then how come two English clubs lost to two Spanish clubs in the UEFA Cup and the Champions League? Still think u're the best?

hahahahahahahaha!! i can't even respond to this question. parsnips and turnips. bwahahahahahahahahahaha!! i'm a trinidadian and while my team, the soca warriors, are no longer in the tournament, neither is england so i feel good about that. here in trinidad and tobago our national flag is still flying in spite of our getting kicked out of the world cup. it's bad that the england car flags are disappearing now that england is out of the semis.

I did ages ago. I was cheering on Ecuador - *office sweapstake* and I'm glad England are out. They are the most overhyped team in the tournament.
Its amusing to see how quick the England car flags have vanished...
