it comes up try again, try again ido then nothing happens, i have pressed for help nothing happens. I also cant remember my password, so i followed every instruction but it does not allow or i cant retrieve my password. i am new to computers so dont no much on what to do. I dont how to get rid of cookie, what ever that is. All i want to do is to access my account to get my mail. aaarrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhh

Call this number: 0845 600 8213, option 2 for residential, and they (maybe it will even be me!) will verify you on our BT Database and once that is done we will tell you your password for your email.
(I work at this department for BT!)

You may need to un-install and re-install the software (sometimes it's a good idea). To get it you will need the username and password!
So, call 0845 600 8213 for Technical Helpdesk (which is based in Bangalore, India) or email me with some details:

For me to access your account, I will require the following:

email address: eg: john.smith21@btinternet.com
BT Account Number: eg: LE15523846 (top-left of bill)
BT Landline number
and finally the security question, which may vary - you may have put it as 'my mother's maiden name' or 'where I was born' or something else...try to remember this and get back to me - otherwise call the 0845 number above.

try uninstalling it, reboot, re-install

also if you loose your password you cannot retreive it (not stored anywhere) so you need a new account
