Technically, you can install as many as you'd like, but if you install more than one (software, anyway), you can run into problems. Most technicians recommend that you only have one installed and/or running.

This is different from a hardware firewall, which is a device that sits on either side of your router and acts as a firewall. With one of these, you can also have a software firewall installed on your PC and not have conflicts.

i run 2 firewall and a proxy. one software firewall. zonealrampro and a hardware firewall on the outside of my router.

No limit. Though having more than one is pointless. I recommend ZoneAlarm from Zonelabs.

Don't rely on Windows' built-in firewall; it's crap.

if it is more than one it effect your computer negativelly bcz when there is two firewall both of them shut down so it can effect ur computer
