I live in southern Spain...The weather here in september is marvelous (the best weather is in may-june and from mid-september to mid-october).
Costa Dorada is the area around Tarragona. The mediterranean is at its warmest in september after being heated by the summer sun, so the beach should be great...
Madrid could be anything...From excessively warm, to chilly in the evenings. We are having a drought in Spain, so it will probably be more HOT than anything else. If the drought ends, which we are all hoping for, you might have some showers, but for the moment, it doesn't seem likely.)
(Snow?? not hardly, unless you intend to go hiking in the Pyrenees late in october...and maybe not even then!)

Have a nice trip...Spain is a beautiful country!

Hi,
The climate is very good in Spain at the end of September - sunny and pleasant but not too hot as it is in July and August. You should experience daytime temperatures in the high 20's and night-time temperatures in the low 20's. Hope this helps.
