that song "i'm comming out" is it about coming out from being gay or something? i was watching boat trip the other day and cuba gooding jr. was lip-sycning to "i'm coming out" it's like ...I'm coming out i want the world to know i want to let it show..something like that..does anyone know?

Is Diana Ross a lesbian? I think not. She is the author and singer of the song. I do not believe its about homosexuality. And considering Cuba's part in the film was a straight man on a gay cruise, accidentally.

I think this song was written a lot before the term "Coming Out" meant what it does today. I don't think the song is about being gay.

Yeah..it's odd..the gay crowd seems to have certain songs that they like, and that's one of them. Their other songs are like '80's divas tunes, and stuff by sister sledge...hehe
