Hell no!! That would be a huge let down. Harry needs to live a long life so he can go on where his parents could not. Plus he has to stand as a witness to what happen during the dark time.

J.K. is probably actually going to kill him and I understand why, but I really don't want Harry Potter to die in the end... it's just too sad.
Why and how could anyone attempt to make a retarded sequel of Harry Potter themselves if the original author would end the series herself? I just don't want her to end it that way... Can't they just make a demand/rule that no one can ever, ever attempt to make a Harry Potter sequel beyond J.K. Rowling's writings???

I don't think he should be killed, for I it would make for a poor depressing ending. They could turn such event into a touching scene though it might be a bit much to take him out.
Perhaps another character's death would be a more reasonable alternative; in addition to making the scene a touching one of course!
