besides the french were magestirial in their superiority over the brazillians, zidane was awesome and so was ribery. ronaldo and ronaldhinio didnt do much with the ball wen they got it.

Brazil should have won! The only bad thing is that they seemed to have some sort of jinx over them. Maybe they took this world cup too lightly and didn't train enough, or it was their paradigm of thinking france could beat them easily. they were stressed. Anyway Brazil seldom do well on european grounds. Next time in south africa 2010, i'll still be a brazil supporter and i hope they'll be at the top!
I don't like france for very personal reasons and i hope next time portugal will thrash them.

I expected france to win. Brazil is overrated.... Yes, brazil has really good forwards.. but they lack the defence. They had 5 guys on Zidane and they could not even touch him because he is so amazing. France is harder working and the brazillians are caught up in being "the best" France is simply better.

I was really surprised and very disappointed at how poorly Brazil played, but I'm glad France won b/c they deserved it- Zidane was just a class above anyone else on the field. The man is a genius and I hope he can continue to show his ability in the semis and the final.

I knew France will win, because did not show the flair that they are well renouned for. On the other hand France has a genius called Zidane at 34 he has more experience than a rookie 22 year old Cristiano Ronaldo. All your young superstars that you had predicted were a bust..like Pamela Anderson's boobs.

no i didn't expect france to win. it's kinda hard to believe. yeah it made me sad. but in the end it's just a game and brazil will have many more chances to win the world cup after this one.

I was kind of worried as I had been following Brasil's earlier games.Quite frankly though saddened with the result..I wasnt too upset with Brasil's loss to France. See...Brasil in this recently concluded world cup never really showed any "sparkle" to their game. Sometimes I wondered if it really was Brasil playing - the current number one FIFA ranked team in the world?!!. They lacked flair, their true skills, their accurate passes, and Ronaldhino was just invisible most of the time. This is perhaps his worst showing in any match.
At times I thought a nasty spell had been cast upon Brasil by some witch doctor hired by an opposing team...kinda silly thought though...but who knows?. When I watched them playing it was a though their were jinxed and just couldnt be themselves on the pitch. Very uncharacteristic of them. Painful to even watch!
It was indeed sad. But I think it happened for a reason.We will never know why. But I believe they will make a comeback in 2010 with a vengence!. Maybe some new talent will make their debut appearances. That I look foward to. Brasil indeed has one of the worlds best football talents and its always going to be a team to reckon with. Never underestimate their resolve.

I expected France to win because if France were to take a penalty and zizues takes it the will so score.I'm Italian but I routefor other countries. ut know that Italy and frane were in the finals now I'm oly routing for Italy!
