we already know that it's a style. why is it attractive? what do individuals like about it? is it merely a "run with the pack" thing? is it over rated? where's it going? what's the full scoop?

Oh gosh, my brother-in-law does this, as do a couple other teens I know. They seem to be into the whole fake gangster thing, and it seems to be related somehow to that. I think it's not supposed to look attractive, but rebellious and dangerous. And that sort of attitude, as we know, will get a girl's attention, often times.
I just saw some guy wearing his pants like that while I was out shopping... so glad I was in the car already because he looked like the kind of guy who would really get offended if he knew I was laughing that hard at him. But it looks so foolish, how could you not laugh!

Whoever made it in style is a complete idiot. There is nothing to like about it, as it just shows more stupidity. Kids who do this will laugh at a fat guy with his crack hanging out, but yet don't care that their underwear is hanging out either.
It's not attractive. Kids don't do this in my area - only in the ghetto. I think anyone who wants to follow this stupid trend - is also a complete idiot.
Seriously...walking around holding your pants up. Well - it is pretty funny watching a boy run to catch the bus, and have to watch him miss the bus because he lost his pants.

It is a fad like many others there have been. Most young people do such things to show their individuality, but what makes them individuals if they are doing the same thing others are? I saw a guy going into a gas station to pay for his gas and his pants were so low that he was looking for his wallet clear down by his knees. LMAO.

i'm 5ft2, 125lb and a length 6 pants. i'm fairly muscular yet all the load is going to my hips, butt and thighs. i've got not got a six %. the two, yet i've got have been given slightly ab definition commencing as much as coach. i might have concept you would be closer to a length 10 at 5ft6 and 150lb, yet merely exhibits all of us carry our weight in any different case.

Hey dude, what was up with the hip-hugging tight fitting bell bottoms? It's the fashion of the times. Have a great day.

I think it's a "run with the pack thing". If you are a black male and you don't do it then you're automatically lame. To this day, I'm still trying to understand why it's so hard to be an individual though.

Think it started back when Carter first brought the boat people over here. They couldn't find pants to fit them and they were all too baggy on them. Kids just started doing it to mock them. Idiots do it today.

i dunno my x followed that fad and he was a big fan of taking my stuff like my fone or my favorite pen and my purse and when he ran away with it i would chase after him and half the time he was fallin on his face (when he did i would stop and LMAO) and then he thought i walked really fast (i dont i actually walk pretty slow compared to alot of people) he would say" you walk to fast slow down" and i would be like well if ur pants werent at ur knees you might actually be faster than me. he had no response. everyone does it now so i guess there is no stopping it and big stars like Eminem and other rappers were there pants like that so it must be a "i wanna be gangsta" thing 2.

Its my understanding this "style" actually started in prisons where they aren't allowed belts. They get out and continue this and to some it became cool. I never could understand it. You can't run. Constantly pulling them up, etc.

I guess people that wear them are just really lazy about pulling down their pants to go to the bathroom......because my GOD it looks stupid. That would be the only logical explanation in my opinion.
