Here's what can work against you:

1. Diet. If you're eating things heavy in garlic, onions and the like, they can seep out throug your pores and cause odor. If you're eating broccoli, beans, etc, well we all know about gas, but it can also cause odor.

2. Chemicals. Bathing daily, plus deoderant, plus perfume, plus sprays etc. You're mixing together about 6 different types of chemicals. And while they smell good on their own, they could be combining to smell bad. Plus, what about detergents in your laundry? Combine that with your deoderant and sweat and now we're talking a chemical broil under your arms.

3. Body Chemistry. The chemical issues above can interract with you just as baddly as with each other. There's a tip for women that says, if you want to buy cologne for a guy, take him with you and put the sample on him, to make sure it smells good ON HIM not just on its own. Same with anything else. Your body chemistry may be interracting baddly with one or more of the products you use. Try a different soap or a different deoderant and see what happens. Also, your clothes may not help it either. I thought I had an odor issue but I realized it was only happening with one particular shirt. I don't know why it was, but as soon as I stopped wearing (i.e. sweating in) the shirt, I never had the problem again.

4. Clothing. Make sure your arms can breathe. If you're wearing something sleeveless or shortsleeved you should be fine, but if it 's something with heavy material or the like, you may not be getting enough air flow.

Try changing the conditions. Different soap, then different deoderant, or ease up on the perfume.

And of course 5. YOU'RE NOT GETTING RID OF THE ODOR

Aside from washing, all those things you do just covers the odor up. The odor is still there, you're just trying to make people notice a different odor. See if you can get a better soap to absorb odor, and even consider spraying your underarms with thist stuff called Approach. You can get it online at www.approachit.net It's awesome stuff, no chemicals, totally safe and will eliminate odor.

Keep trying different things until you see improvement, and in the mean time you can use the approach stuff as a way to eliminate it in between showers etc. You'll be fine, just keep trying to find the source.

Good luck!

Sometimes a person needs more than one shower per day. Change into clean clothes more than once a day....especially underwear. A good deoderant, a talc powder or cornstarch to help soak up the sweat....Does this person bathe on a regular basis, wear clean clothes everyday etc? Also, what a person eats may be a cause for bad body odor....like maybe lots of garlic.

When taking a shower, lather up your washcloth real good with your favorite soap, (I like the shower gel personally), and then mix 20 or 30 drops of BETADYNE into it, (mix it all up good), and then wash under the arms, (and any other body areas prone to sweat and odor). Amazingly, this kills the odor-causing bacteria for up to a day without a deodorant! You can add a deodorant before dressing if you still want to though.

A good physical with the person's PCP is necessary and if he/she determines it's something to do with a specific body system, he/she can arrange an appt. with the specialist, who in turn will diagnose the cause of the strong body odor. Most usually it's a physical problem and can easily be remedied.

Shower in the morning and at night.

Change your towel and wash cloth daily.

Change your deoderant. Try the natural crystal deoderant. They sell a roll-on version at Rite Aid.

If that doesn't work, see a dermatologist.
