Any suggestions on finding a gas station in a desolate area of SoCal for a student film project?

I am trying to find an older gas station with relatively nothing around for a student film project (thus, we don't have a budget and won't be able to pay a lot to use the location). If you know of any such places in Southern California please let me know the address/name/city, etc. The more details the better! Thanks so much!

Try looking in Trona, California - just east of Ridgecrest and the China Lake Navel Weapons center. There's a whole lot of not much out there...
